We are so grateful for our community’s unwavering support for vibrant local journalism.
As we move from generations of family ownership to make The Spokesmen-Review one of the nation’s first community-owned newspapers, we have been blown away by how you have stepped up to make it happen.
In May contributions from readers reached the $2 million match donated by the Cowles family and we began the process of transferring the newspaper’s ownership to the nonprofit Comma Community Journalism Lab.
Now, we enter our next phase. The generous support from our community will go to growing and sustaining The Spokesman-Review for generations to come. From $5 to $500,000, every contribution is a powerful vote for local journalism and the future of this community.
